The complete LP - pressed on 180g blue vinyl, includes rare photographs taken by renowned jazz photographer Jean-Pierre Leloir. Little Girl Blue, released in 1957, was Nina Simone's first studio recording. Many of the tracks from this LP would become true classics, among them her perennial versions of 'I Loves You Porgy' and 'My Baby Just Cares For Me'.
This edition of Little Girl Blue released on the Jazz Images series, is dedicated to Jean-Pierre Leloir, the most important French photographer covering France's music scene during the 50's, 60' and 70's. His photographs of Nina Simone in this special 180gram blue vinyl edition are worth the price of the LP alone and an assured collectors' item.
