La Polla Records is a Spanish punk rock band, formed in 1979 in Salvatierra/Agurain, a small town in Basque Country (Spain). They were one of the first punk bands to sing in Spanish. La Polla Records was a band that was known as a symbol of rebellion against everything, to the point of them being called "anti-everything". As a result of this they faced several major obstacles throughout their career, primarily threats and repression. The band members even faced jail time during a fiasco gig with Eskorbuto, another Spanish band from the underground.

This is their ninth album, originally releades in 1993 Jean Phocas repeats as the person in charge of the recording, once again carried out at the Elkar studios. Manolo Gil, who already worked with the band from Salvatierra in the same role on `Ellos Dicen Mierda, Nosotros Amén' (Oihuka, 1990), assisted by Jokin Larrea, is in charge of the cover design. (...) Apart from the atypical `Los Jubilados' (Oihuka, 1990), this is the album in which the changes in the band's sound are most noticeable. From the start, the heavy, cutting guitars are striking, more in keeping with a metal rock band. The production is very technical, as for example on the first track. Despite this, this one, `Radio Crime' is one of the best on the album. It has an air of `El Norte está lleno de frío' by Ilegales with high-octane incendiary lyrics and a real storm of guitars: `Everything is as it should be / Everything goes as it should go (...) The workers burn down a station / Let's say it's a cold and grey day / Everything suggests / That they'll end up stuck to the wall / Police in training / Let's say it's a provocation / Money asks for more sacrifices / For social peace'. The `Radio Clash', much more rocking of course, by La Polla Records...
