The title speaks to this desire to break down barriers. “I like the idea of Chrome Dipped being a mind set,” says frontman Jim McCullogh. “It’s like a casting of your character, or like an outer shell. One of the main objectives for this album was to make a drastic turn in our sound. Break the mold, melt the steel."
